Dear Mr. Carter,

I am applying for the position of a writer or reporter for sports, for the Blackville Talon. I think you should hire me as a reporter, because I’m not shy to talk to people I don’t know, I’m not afraid to voice my opinion, and I know about sports, because I play them my self.

I’m writing to you to apply for a job at The Blackville Talon. I would like to have the job as a writer or reporter for the sports section of the news paper.

I could offer The Blackville Talon my spirit, not fearing the people, not being shy and being able to voice my opinion. You should the hire me because I think I could really befit the news paper. People that know me know that I’m not afraid of arguing my points. I’m not afraid to talk to people and ask them questions.

I play hockey for the Renous House Team, I play baseball/softball in the summer on my spare time. I watch different types of motorsports all the time. I usually know the jist of what’s going on in the sports world.

Thanks-you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope that you will consider me for an interview. I am available for an interview at anytime that is convenient for you.
